Philip Thompson Ltd were engaged by Stratherrick & Foyers Community Trust Limited (SFCT) to review potential repairs to the South Loch Ness Trail within the Dell Estate near Foyers. The scope of this review included:

• identify a proposed solution or solutions in each location
• provide an assessment of likely construction timescales and costs
• a budget price for the proposed works for grant application purposes inclusive of project management and design development.
• provide sufficient detail to identify proposed scope of work to FLS, other land owners and grant providers.
• assessment of likely access issues which will impact budget prices.

This section of trail route is part of the South Loch Ness Trail which extends from Fort Augustus at the western end of Loch Ness to the Highland capital, Inverness. The overall length of the route is approximately 60 km.
