Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) commissioned the Company to review the condition of a section of the Speyside Way on the edge of the village. This route is very popular with both locals due to the numerous paths linking with this “main” route and with those undertaking the longer Speyside Way option.

After establishing the scope of improvements required to bring the route back up to a reasonable standard, a budget cost was established and the likely timescale to complete the works. One of the main criteria during the construction phase was to ensure the route remained open and accessible to all users. The company produced all the necessary documents to take the project to tender stage including :-

• Conditions of Contract
• Construction Drawings
• Specifications
• Health & Safety Information

CNPA thereafter carried out a tender process and a Contractor was appointed with a view to commencing works in early 2024. The Company was also then appointed to oversee the construction phase which was successfully completed in March 2024.
